Although we have been providing high quality family dental care in the Mill Creek area for over 20 years, we have consistently upgraded our equipment and training to provide state of the art dental services. We pride ourselves on the superior dental care we carefully and gently provide while addressing your individual needs and concerns. We collect complete and current information regarding your individual situation in order to develop a customized treatment plan especially for you. We manage all areas of family dental care including preventive dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and sedation dentistry.
From basic restorative procedures to advanced cosmetic dentistry, our entire staff stays current on the latest treatment options. We use advanced restorative materials and work with high quality dental labs, thereby including additional excellent technicians as part of our team. We work closely with many skilled specialists, such as orthodontists, periodontists, and oral surgeons to ensure your specific needs are met.
We're proud of the fact that SeattleMet magazine named Dr. Linda Cirtaut one of the top Seattle dentists for the third year in a row in their January 2013 issue. It is especially nice to know that her inclusion on this list is based on her local peer dentists' opinions as part of a national survey.
Preventive Family Dentistry Services
We collect complete and current information regarding your individual situation in order to develop a customized treatment plan especially for you. This complete dental health assessment allows us to fully understand your oral condition and answers important questions about your treatment plan. Our procedures include:
- Diagnostic study models and photographs in comprehensive cases
- Comprehensive head and neck exam
- Digital x-rays to evaluate the health of teeth and bone structure
- Up-close views with the intraoral camera
- DIAGNOdent® decay detection to find the slightest carries
- VELscope® early detection oral cancer screening
- Laser bacterial reduction to treat and prevent gum disease
We believe in regular checkups using the latest technology in ultrasonic cleaning, fluoride rinses and sealants to prevent tooth decay and periodontal disease. Our full-time hygienists provide comfortable, quality cleaning and keep you informed of your current gum health. Dr. Cirtaut, Dr. Sessions, and our dental hygienists are trained in the use of the latest laser technology to attack periodontal inflammation and disease; and to treat cold sores and canker sores.
Laser bacterial reduction is a painless, state of the art new dental treatment to combat gum disease. Studies have shown that among factors that increase your susceptibility of acquiring gum disease include genetics, poor oral home care, and specific disease-causing bacteria. While we can’t change your genetics, we can work with your home care and greatly reduce your bacterial levels from billions to hundreds beneath the gums with laser bacterial reduction. This whole procedure takes five to ten minutes and consists of placing the tip of the laser 0.5 millimeters beneath your gums and taking the tip around all surfaces of your teeth. The laser light penetrates the bacteria and kills on contact for a painless procedure. Laser bacterial reduction can be used to treat current gum disease as well as to prevent gum disease from taking hold.
Cosmetic Dentistry Services
We can enhance your smile with tooth whitening (in the office or at home), tooth colored fillings or beautifully bonded veneers and crowns. Our in-office Zoom! whitening system will help you maintain a beautiful smile.
Dr. Cirtaut and Dr. Sessions use fillings with natural tooth colored porcelain, composite, or amalgam to restore teeth.
Our services include crowns, bridges, partial dentures, and implant crowns to repair or replace teeth. We provide CEREC® One-Visit Crowns for many patients which totally eliminates the old two-visit procedure. CEREC® is a high tech dental restoration product that enables us to produce a ceramic dental crown using a patented system. With CEREC®, teeth can be restored in a single sitting rather than with the multiple sittings required with earlier procedures. The resulting crown matches the color and appearance of your teeth and the perfectly bonded porcelain lasts a very long time.
Dr. Cirtaut has taken accredited courses on dental implants. Working with an implant surgeon, she provides patients with a full range of choices for the final restoration.
Sedation Dentistry Services
According to the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, up to thirty percent of people avoid the dentist because of fear. This can prevent patients from getting the regular dental care necessary for optimal oral health. Sedation dentisty utilizes sedative drugs to establish a relaxed state-of-mind in patients so that they can receive necessary treatments.
Dr. Cirtaut is trained to provide sedation denstistry treatment to those patients who require it.
