We believe in giving back

Over the years we have donated our time, supplies, and dental expertise to various charity organizations. We believe it is important that we dentists who are able, should give back to those who are less fortunate. There are many in need.

Pasado's Safe Haven

Pasado’s Safe Haven is one of the premier animal rescue organizations in the United States, dedicated to 24-hour rescue and rehabilitation of dogs, cats and farm animals. Located on 85 pastoral and wooded acres one hour northeast of Seattle, Washington, the sanctuary is home to hundreds of dogs, cats, cows, chickens, ducks, goats, turkeys, pigs, and donkeys. Most arrived from abuse or neglect and now live out their lives in peace.

Smiles of Uganda

For many years, Dr. Cirtaut, Paula Kooistra, and other staff have volunteered their time, donated their dental supplies and traveled to Uganda, Africa to provide free dental treatment to those with no access to care.

During their three week stays, they visited a refugee camp in the northern region where 80,000 people, mostly women and children, live within two square miles with absolutely no dentists available to them. They also visited many villages in the southern region which including several Pygmy villages where there are no dentists.

The people of Uganda touched their hearts and the need for dental care is so great that Dr. Cirtaut and her staff are gladly accepting donations in their office. Your donations will help provide dental treatment, mosquito nettings and needed medications for the people of Uganda. If you are interested in making a donation you may contact our office for further information.
